Exiting from the file name entry window :

•

To exit and save your changes, press F2 

Save &

Exit

. If the file name already exists, the maximum

number of files have been allocated, or insufficient
file space remains, a warning box is displayed. Press
F1 or F6 to close this box.

To exit without making changes, press F3

When you have specified a file name and save and exited
from the file name entry window the

 Log to File

 option

displays a tick (

✔

).

Specifying how often statistics are saved to
file

•

Now highlight 

Log to File interval

 and press the

RIGHT arrow key to display a sub-menu of times.
Choose the appropriate time period (for example,
select 10 Secs to save and update the statistics file
every 10 seconds).

Starting statistics capture

•

Choose 

Start Log 

to start capturing the statistics to

file. aurora

Tempo

 saves these statistics in memory using

the file name specified.

Caution

Do not switch off aurora

Tempo

 while recording data or the file

may be lost.

Stopping capture

•

Choose 

Stop Log 

to stop the capture.

Tip

You can view the statistics you have just captured using
the File Manager - please refer to Chapter 7 for further
information.
