restore
Restores and saves the port, component, and level settings to the default values.
save
Saves the log settings for the component, severity level, port, and display level. These settings
remain in effect after a switch reset. The log settings can be viewed using the
show log settings
command. To export log entries to a file, use the
set log archive
command.
start
Starts the logging of events based on the
port
,
component
, and
level
operands assigned to
the current configuration. The logging continues until you enter the
set log stop
command.
stop
Stops logging of events.
Notes
In addition to critical, warn, and informative severity levels, the highest event severity level is alarm.
The alarm level describes events that are disruptive to the administration or operation of a fabric and
require administrator intervention. Alarms are always logged and always displayed on the screen.
