Retighten all screw and plug-in
connections as well as the hydraulic
connections Due to material settlements or e.g. paint residues
between screw connections even properly tightened
screw connections can become loose, resulting in loose
screw connections and leaking hydraulic connections.
Retighten the wheels
9/16-18 - 150 ft-lb.

initially after 10 hours or 30 miles

then again after 10 hours or 30 miles

then retighten every day, until the nuts/bolts have
seated and further tightening is no longer possible


Lubrication points
RC – Support Wheel Arm Pivot pin lubricate (4) x
RC – Wing flex pin lubricate (8) x
Row unit parallel arms lubricate (2 each) x
Row unit gauge wheel arms lubricate (2 each) x
Wheels
1230 / 1630 Support Wheels Check Tire Pressure 7.60-15 inflate to 30 psi x
All wheels Check tires and rims for damage x
Hydraulic system
Hydraulic system and components Check all hydraulic components and hoses for function, x
Drill unit
Opening Disks Check state, wear, bearing clearance and movement.
At the front the discs should be slightly tensioned
against each other x
Scrapers Check wear and fastening x
Gauge wheels and closing wheels Check state, wear, bearing clearance and free rotation x
Gauge wheels Check spacing with opening disks x
Drill unit
Firming wheel Check for damage and free rotation x
Set the depth setting to the depth of the opening disks x
