Vacuum set too high Reduce the vacuum
Seed grains are
scattered Working speed too high Reduce the working speed
Seed tube not correctly
assembled, blocked or
defective Correct the assembly or replace the seed
tube
Firming wheel incorrectly
adjusted Adjust firming wheel to disk height or
.25” lower - see instructions
Firming wheel defective Replace the firming wheel
Seed tubes or
opening discs full
of dirt. Planter has been lowered
and rolled backwards Only move the planter forward when
lowered.
Irregular fertilizer
distribution Incorrect conversion factor Calibrate system (see instructions)
Incorrect orifice size Use correct orifice size for fertilizer rate
and planting speed.
Plugged hose Check all hoses.
