Mechanical depth setting The working depth of the machine is adjusted with aluminium clips on the support
wheels.
To adjust the working depth, aluminium clips are plugged on to or removed from
two segments of the adjustment rods, see chapter
Aluminium clips . The clips can
only be plugged on or removed when the respective segment is without load by
raising or lowering the machine.

Adjusting rod
1. Plug the clips in the same amount and colour on all adjustment rods.
2. Always fill the segments (1) and (2) completely with clips, if possible.
3. Insert clips, which are not required, in area (3).
4. Note the ratio of approx. 1:2.
Example: Reposition clips with a total thickness of 1.5 cm [0.6"] to change the
working depth by approx. 3 cm [1.2"].
Increasing the working depth
1. Slightly lift the machine.
2. Remove clips from area (1).
3. Lower the machine.
4. Reinsert the clips again in the area (2).
Reduce the working depth
1. Lower the machine.
2. Remove clips from area (2).
3. Lifting the machine.
4. Reinsert the clips again in the area (1).
Hydraulic depth setting The working depth of the machine is adjusted via the hydraulic cylinders on the sup-
port wheels.
The working depth can also be adjusted and changed during work in the field.
Equalizing
The hydraulic cylinders are connected in the rephasing system (connected in series).
Therefore by depth changes the machine always moves parallel to the working sur-
face. To even out differences, the cylinders must be levelled.

Equalize before beginning to work, before depth setting as well as several
times during the working day!
