4-4 Changing the Cover Feeding Settings

If the cover sheet is out of position on the book block or
is not fed correctly, change the cover feeding settings.

Adjust the cover registration posi-

tions (left/right, and front/rear) and

the side guide width using the Cover

Sheet Screen Part 1. Refer to page

26.

Adjust the cover sheet stack posi-

tion to match the settings made in

step 1.

- Increase or decrease the values to match the

settings made in step 1.

- Adjust the cover sheet stack position and the

positioning guide width using the Cover Sheet

Screen Part 2. Refer to page 27.

If any of the problems listed below

occurs, adjust the vacuum to the

feed rotor and the pressure of the

transport belts.

- After feeding, the cover sheets are wrinkled.
- The cover sheets double-feed or misfeed.
- The feeding actiton is not stable.
- Adjust the vacuum to the feed rotor and the

pressure of the transport rollers using the

Cover Sheet Screen Part 3. Refer to page 27.

When mis-detecting the double
feeding or mis-feeding, adjust the
light strength or the detecting sensi-
tivity.

- Adjust the light project amount and the
detecting sensitivity using the Cover Sheet
