7 Maintenance

Maintenance item list

• Cleaning of the lens and the standard plate (refer to page 42)
• Replacement of the batteries (refer to page 43)

Cleaning of the lens and the standard plate 

1.

Ensure that the power is turned OFF.

If the power is turned ON, turn it OFF.

2.

Remove the protective cover from the IG-340 main 
unit, and check the lens on the measurement area and 
the standard plate for dirt.

• If they are dirty, wipe off the dirt using the supplied lens 

cloth.

• If they are very dirty, wipe off the dirt using a soft cloth 

slightly soaked in neutral detergent.

Note

Do not use alcohol or benzine.
