Figure 4-7 Setting Motion Sensitivity
Use the following options to set up the motion sensitivity:
• CHANNEL : Select the channel to set the motion sensitivity on.
• DAYTIME : Specify the time period that will be considered as daytime.
• SENSITIVITY : 1 (Low) ~ 30 (High). The higher the number is, the more sensitive the
sensitivity level becomes.
• DAYTIME : Specify the SENSITIVITY level for the daytime.
• NIGHTTIME : Specify the SENSITIVITY level for the nighttime.
Note Images recorded in a low contrast scene such as at night cause severe
noise, triggering the motion event too often.
If unwanted events occur frequently at night, you may want to reduce
the motion sensitivity for the night duty.
PTZ Settings
You can configure PTZ cameras connected to each channel. Set the camera ID, protocol, baud
rate and PTZ control speed for each channel.
1. From SYSTEM SETUP

CAMERA , select PTZ SETUP (see Figure 4-8 ).

, and ENTER buttons on the remote control or mouse to set protocol
and bitrate of each channel.
Note Refer to the PTZ camera’s user guide, or consult a camera installation service
provider for further details on setting up the PTZ camera, such as camera
address, protocol and baud rate.
