INSPECTION

Inspect the radiator soldered joints and seams

for leaks.

Blow diret out from between core fins with com

pressed air. If insects, etc., are clogged the radiator,

wash them off with low pressure water.

Pressure test the radiator cap. Replace the radiator

cap if it does not hold pressure, or if relief pressure

is too high or too low. It must hold specified

pressure for at least six seconds.

NOTE

[ Before installing the cap on the tester��

water to sealing surfaces.

RADIATOR CAP REUFT PRESSURE:

0.9 ± 0.15 kg/cm

(12.8 ± 2.1 psi)

INSTALLATION

Install the radiator in the reverse order of re

movl.

Fill the cooling system with the recommended

coolant (Page 10-3).

After installation, check the radiator and radiator

hoses for leaks.
