As required by E.C.E Regulation No. 94;
If the passenger’s front airbag
inflates, it can hit the rearward
facing child restraint system with
great force. The rearward facing
child restraint system can be
dislodged or struck with enough
force to cause very serious injury to
the infant.
If the
vehicle seat is too far forward, or the
child’s head is thrown forward
during a collision, an inflating front
airbag can strike the child with
enough force to kill or very seriously
injure a small child.
In this vehicle, small children may
also be restrained in the front centre
seat. When using a front facing child
restraint system in the front centre
seat, position the seat to its rearmost.
Whenever
possible, larger children should sit in
the back seat, in a booster seat if
needed, and be properly restrained
with a seat belt (see page
for
important information about
protecting larger children).
In this vehicle, larger children may
also be restrained in the front centre
seat. When using a front facing child
restraint system in the front centre
seat, position the seat to its rearmost.
In all cases observe the legal
requirements of the countries in
which you will drive.
