Get parts group B.
10. Install the compressor.
Install the two 10 mm flange
nuts (94050-10080). Torque
them to 49 N
.
m (36 lb-ft).
Position the compressor on the bracket,
and install the four 8 x 85 mm flange bolts
(90023-P8A-A00). Torque them to 22 N
.
m (16 lb-ft).
Install the two 10 x 35 mm
flange bolts (95701-10035-08).
Torque them to 49 N
.
m (36 lb-ft).
Position the compressor
bracket over the mounting studs.
Clean up the threads
before installing the
compressor bracket.
11. Adjust the compressor belt tension.
Torque this nut to 22 N
.
m (16 lb-ft).
Torque this bolt to
44 N
.
m (36 lb-ft).
Install the new belt on the crankshaft, alternator,
and compressor pulleys. Make sure the belt is
properly aligned in the grooves of the pulleys.
Turn the adjusting
bolt in until the
belt tension
reaches the
“New Belt” tension.
Do not overtighten!
New Belt Tension:
1,030 to 1,130 N
(105 to 115 kg)
NOTE: After the A/C
kit is installed and the
engine has run for
5 or more minutes,
readjust the belt tension
to the “Used Belt” tension.
Used Belt Tension:
490 to 590 N (50 to 60 kg)
Fit the belt tension gauge
(T/N 07JGG-001010A) onto the belt.
Do not use any gauge other
than this one!
