REFRIgERATOR cONTROLs
6 Cubic Foot.
Mode Switch:
Selects mode of operation between 120
Volts AC and propane.
Set Mode switch to Auto to operate
the refrigerator from 120 Volts AC.
Push the selector switch to the Gas to
operate the refrigerator on propane.
Temperature Switch:
Controls temperature adjustment
of the freezer and the fresh food
compartment. The temperature
adjustment selected does not change
if the mode of operation of the
refrigerator changes.
Push the temperature switch to the
desired temperature setting.
Number “5” is the coldest temperature
setting.





Automatic Mode:
The refrigerator automatically defaults
to operate on 120 Volts AC, the most
efficient energy source. If 120 Volts AC
is not available, the refrigerator will
begin operation on propane.
The On light is illuminated if 120 Volts
AC is available.
The On light and Gas light are both
illuminated if 120 Volts AC is not
available. The refrigerator will
automatically switch operation to
propane.
Manual Mode: (Propane) When the On
light and Gas light are both illuminated, the
refrigerator is operating on propane.
If the refrigerator does not start on propance
within 30 seconds, the refrigerator changes
mode to 120 Volts AC. If 120 Volts AC is not
available, the refrigerator will sound an alarm
to indicate neither function is operating . Turn
the refrigerator off then back on. If the propane
does not ignite after several attempts, consult
the dealer or authorized Norcold service
center.



