Changing the Hydraulic Oil
It is recommended to change the hydraulic oil each year. The machine must be warm after
work, but switched off.
1. Remove the slide (1).
2. Dismount the vent screw (2) from the tank (3).
3. Place a waste container under the tank and remove the outlet screw (a) from the tap (b)
in the drain cock (4) on the side of the tank. Open the tap (b) so that the oil runs out.
4. Dismount screws (5) from the cover of the return filter (6).
5. Remove the cover (6), O-ring (7) and spring (8).
6. Remove the insert filter (9) (must be replaced by a new one).
7. a) Remove O-ring (11) from the bottom of the filter housing
b) Dismantle the filter cover (10)
c) Dismantle the tank cover (13)
d) Remove the O-ring (12 ) from the filter housing
8. Rinse the tank (3) with cleaning oil.
8.1 Dismantle the suction filter (15)
8.2 Fit a new suction filter (15)
9. Clean the filter housing (10).
10. Fit new O-rings (11+12) before filter-housing (10) is fitted.
11. Fit tank cover (13).
12. Fit new filter (9).
13. Fit spring (8).
14. Fit new O-ring (7) under the cover (6) for fitting the cover.
15. Insert and fasten the screws (5) (turning moment approx. 2 Nm)
16. Fit outlet screw (a) in the tap (b) in the drain cock (4) (take care of the packing). Close
the tap (b).
17. The tank is filled with hydraulic oil through the vent connection piece until the middle of
the upper oil glass (14).
18. Outlet screw (2) is fitted
19. The machine is started.
20. Check for leakages.
Hydraulic Oil : SHELL TELLUS S 32 or a similar oil of another make.
