Hitron CGNVM User’s Guide

The following table describes the labels in this screen.

The Status: Wireless Screen

2.4G Wireless Status

Wireless Status
(2.4GHz)

This displays whether or not the CGNVM’s 2.4GHz
wireless network is active.

Wireless Mode
(2.4GHz)

This displays the type of wireless network that the
CGNVM’s 2.4GHz network is using.

Wireless Channel
(2.4GHz)

This displays the wireless channel on which the
CGNVM’s 2.4GHz wireless network is transmitting and
receiving.

5G Wireless Status

Wireless Status
(5GHz)

This displays whether or not the CGNVM’s 5GHz
wireless network is active.

Wireless Mode
(5GHz)

This displays the type of wireless network that the
CGNVM’s 5GHz network is using.

Wireless Channel
(5GHz)

This displays the wireless channel on which the
CGNVM’s 5GHz wireless network is transmitting and
receiving.

SSID Overview (2.4GHz)

(SSID)

This displays the SSID (Service Set IDentifier) of the
CGNVM’s 2.4GHz wireless network, and whether or not
it is currently active.

Broadcast SSID

This displays whether the CGNVM’s 2.4GHz wireless
network SSID is visible to client devices (

Enabled

) or

not (

Disabled

WMM

This displays whether Wi-Fi Multimedia is active
(

Enabled

) or inactive (

Disabled

) on the CGNVM’s

2.4GHz wireless network.

Security Mode

This displays the type of security and encryption method
currently enabled on the CGNVM’s 2.4GHz wireless
network.

Security Key

This displays the wireless security password for the
CGNVM’s 2.4GHz wireless network.

SSID Overview (5GHz)

(SSID)

This displays the SSID (Service Set IDentifier) of the
