Powering Up the Printer

Power Switch Location

The power switch is located on the top of the printer.

Powering Up the Printer

After your printer is connected, do the following:

1.

Turn on the printer.

2.

Turn on any devices connected to your printer.

3.

Turn on your computer.

4.

The printer control panel will display the internal diagnostic tests

starting with:

STARTING DIAG/SELF TEST

and ending with:

BOOTING PRINTER

5.

If the installation is successful, the control panel will display

READY.

NOTE

:

If the installation is not successful an error message will appear.
Turn off the power and check the setup and installation again.
Refer to the User’s Guide for a complete list of system messages.
