LIGHT ADAPTERS

Light Adapters
See DWG. NO. 4119A

Light adapters are used to interface between the 
vehicle headlight wiring, the under hood harness, 
and  the  headlights.  One  adapter  interfaces  be-
tween the vehicle headlight wiring and the under 
hood harness. This adapter has P5 on one end 
to connect to the under hood harness. The other 
end  has  a  connector  that  mates  with  the  truck 
harness, driver side, headlight connector.

The other two adapters connect between the un-
der hood harness and the vehicle headlights. 

These adapters have  P3 and P4 to connect to 
the under hood harness. The other end of these 
adapters will have connector(s) to mate with the 
vehicle headlights.

Note:

  Some 1999 vehicles have a 12 volt com-

mon  headlight  system  instead  of  the  traditional 
ground  common  system.  These  have  a  ground 
switching  converter  included  in  the  headlight 
adapter kit.
