Configure network parameters.
DHCP: If the DHCP server is available, you can check Enable DHCP to automatically obtain an
IP address and other network settings from that server.
Obtain DNS Automatically: If DHCP is checked. You can check Obtain DNS Automatically to
automatically obtain Preferred DNS Server and Alternate DNS Server.
Step 2
Click Apply.
5.2.2 Hik-Connect
Purpose
Hik-Connect provides the mobile phone application and the service platform webpage
(www.hik-connect.com) to access and manage your video recorder. It enables you to get a
convenient remote access to the surveillance system.
Step 1
Go to Menu > Configuration > Network > Hik-Connect.
Step 2
Check Enable. Then Service Terms interface pops up.
