User Manual of DS-6600 Audio/Video Encoder

Chapter 4 Access to DS-6600 by Client

Software

The DS-6600 Series Audio/Video Encoder can be accessed by iVMS-4200 client software (provided in attached

CD). Please refer to the

User Manual of iVMS-4200 Client Software

for more information.

The computer which runs the iVMS-4200 client software should meet the following requirements:

Operating System: Microsoft Windows 2000 or higher

CPU: Intel Pentium IV 2.4 GHz or higher

RAM: 1G or higher

Display: 1024×768 resolution or higher

4.1 Installing the Client Software

Insert the DX4500/DX4600 resource disc into the remote computer CD/DVD drive, and wait for the window to

open.

Follow the installation prompts to install the software.

Step1:

Double click the program file

to enter the following InstallShield Wizard as shown

below:

Step2:

Click “Next” to start to install the InstallShield Wizard. Select the language (English) for installation, and

then click “Next” to continue the installation.
