OPERATING PROCEDURES
CONVEYOR
The Mark V conveyor switch, or an optional remote conveyor switch, is used to turn on/off the
conveyor. The default switch is the Mark V toggle switch located on the bottom right corner of the
console. The up position turns the conveyor on (Green). The down position turns the conveyor off
(Red).
To activate a remote conveyor switch:
Press the SETUP key.
Press MACHINE SETTINGS key.
Press the Up or Down Arrow Keys to highlight the Conveyor switch setting.
Press EDIT and toggle the setting to “Remote” with the Up or Down Arrow Key.
Press Accept.
Press Exit.
Press the Menu Key.
ACTIVATING JOBS
Press the JOB key.
Press CHANGE JOB key.
Press Up or Down Arrow key to highlight desired job.
Press ACTIVE ON/OFF key to check the highlighted job.
[If you are unsure of the required feedgate or fan frame setting, Press EDIT JOB to view. Press
EXIT to return to the Active Job screen.]
Press EXIT key.
Press ACCEPT key to accept the activated job and return to main screen.
If hydraulics are turned on and the spinner valve is the optional PWM type, the spinner will start
turning.
Be sure to verify the feedgate and fan frame setting according to the settings in the active job. If your
spinner valve is adjusted manually with a mechanical lever, be sure to adjust it to achieve the target
spinner speed for the job.
If you have the optional PWM spinner valve, the Mark V automatically adjusts the valve to the last
setting.
