Selecting the measuring functions
Each pressure on either of both keys causes the measuring function to change,
i.e.
± A ± B
A, -A, 0, A, ...
B, -B, 0, B, ...

Adjusting the offset
The offset can be adequately adjusted for each channel, either separately when the meas-
uring function matches A or B, or simultaneously when the measuring function is a com-
bination of A and B. In the latter case, the offset is evenly distributed on both channels
A and B.
Adjustment is restricted to ±200 µm for each channel, so as to ensure that the probes oper-
ate around their electrical zero, which is the most accurate range. As soon as the highest
offset value is reached, the red LED flashes for 2 seconds.
Increases numerical value matching displayed function

Decreases numerical value matching displayed function

Sets the function to zero (taking offset limitation into account)
Sets the offset of displayed function to zero.
The symbol
appears below the active channel.
A

B
B
If the chosen measuring function is A±B, the offset of channels A and B will be set to zero.
The symbol
then appears below both channels.
Example
If A matches the measuring function, only
the offset of channel A will be set to zero
whilst that of channel B will remain as it is,
and the other way round.
Note
The example that follows is valid for TT80
(TT90 display has 3 positions after the dec-
imal point – Metric units only).
