8.2.1 Selection of the precharge pressure
The correct setting of precharge pressure P
0
depends on the minimum working pressure P
1
,
the maximum working pressure P
2
and the temperature influence.
The
HENNLICH
bladder accumulator has a capacity usage of up to 75% of the effective gas
volume.
The relation of nitrogen precharging P
0
to the maximum working pressure P
2
is limited at 1:4.
The relation of nitrogen precharging P
0
to the mimum working pressure P
1
is limited at 1:0,25.
8.3 Hydraulic pressure systems
First, the precharging pressure Po must be checked (s. Chapter 5.2). Check the hydraulic
pressure system regarding leaks.
Make sure that the hydrostatic pressure of the system exceed the maximum allowable pressure
PS of hydraulic accumulator.
Some models of the liquid valves involve a system in order to bleed.
After venting, the vent screw must be closed and to be checked for tightness and leaks.
Caution! Never open the bleed screw when the hydraulic system is under pressure.
9. Maintenance / Repair
Before the disassembly of the hydraulic accumulator out off the fluid side from the system, it
must be ensured that the hydraulic accumulator is completely depressurized on the liquid- and
system side.
Before the dismantling the hydraulic accumulator please ensure that the accumulator is fully
exonerated the gas side and the accumulator is completely separate from the system of the
fluid side (caution regarding out-gassing!)
Before the dismantling of the accumulator all externally mounted components must be
removed on liquid side(such as reducers, and other accessories).
If the accumulator is completely relieved (gas and liquid side) is the liquid valve must be open.
The concomitant repair instructions must be observed!
Once the hydraulic accumulator is put into operation, hydraulic accumulators need except
nitrogen control, virtually no maintenance.
To keep the equipment in good working condition and to ensure a long service life we
recommend the following maintenance:
