Vacuum unit (valve V5) – buffer vessel inlet
Preferably carry out this step BEFORE positioning the valve matrix
on the rotary evaporator:
A preassembled piece of tube including a suitable angle clip is supplied for the tube
connection between the vacuum unit [1] with valve V5 and the inlet of the buffer vessel
[2] (distributor unit with inner tube [3] in the vessel, see figure).
➜ Firstly, fit the piece of tube in the angle clip supplied (clamped connection, no tools
required).
➜ Connect the distributor unit [2] (with inner tube [3]) of the buffer vessel to the
tube connection of the vacuum unit [1]:
