Additional vacuum valve option (INTEGRATED variant)
Variants with valve-controlled vacuum pump must be equipped
with an additional vacuum valve, to which the optional diaphragm
vacuum pump is connected directly.
In this variant the corresponding connection to the Distimatic Pro is
also omitted!
➜ Assemble the optional vacuum valve [1] supplied on the mounting plate [9] of the
valve matrix provided (see figure in section “Valve matrix components” on page
83):
Tube connections
All tube connections are push-fit connections. The assembly only requires a suitable
tube cutter (see previous section for designations of the components “Valve matrix
components” on page 83).
CAUTION
Especially in the area of glass threads/glass connections, there is
a risk of fracture due to the application of excessive force when
inserting the tube ends.
➜ When inserting the tube ends into the connectors, always
exercise the required care.
➜ To insert the tube ends, where possible, dismantle the tube
connectors from the glass threads/glass components.
➜ Always insert the tube ends at right-angles to the connector,
avoid canting.
