Collector assembly
➜ Preload the strain relief by turning the two wing screws upwards to the right-hand
stop as shown [3a].
➜ Undo the four knurled screws in the adjusting plates of the retaining and stabili-
zation element [2].
➜ Position the collector on the bottom screw thread of the condenser [1] and fix the
collector with the union nut of the strain relief [4].
– At the same time, make sure that the retaining and stabilization element [2] is
free from mechanical stress between the union nut, which fixes the condenser
on the drive unit (see condenser assembly), and the flange of the drive unit
grips around the vapor tube.
➜ Align both adjusting plates of the retaining and stabilization element [2] so that the
contact closure in the area of the drive unit is as uniform as possible, and tighten
the four knurled screws finger tight.
➜ Slacken the strain relief, by turning the two wing screws downwards to the
left-hand as shown [3b].
