Connecting the module CB1016

With the CB1016 base module (for strain gage quarter bridges in four‐wire circuit) the
strain gage bridges are connected through shielded RJ45 sockets.

CAUTION

The specifications relative to EMC properties apply only if shielded connection cables and
shielded plugs are used. For this reason, we advise against using RJ11 plugs, that are elec­
tromechanically compatible, instead of shielded RJ45 plugs.

Connecting the module CB1010

The CB1010 base module (for strain‐gage half and full bridges and DC voltage sources)
enables strain gage bridges or transducers to be connected through shielded RJ45 con­
nection sockets.

CAUTION

The CB1010 base module requires a CA1030 amplifier module of hardware revision 1.20 or
higher to be used.
