CHARGER DIAGNOSTICS
• The charger is designed to detect certain problems that can occur with battery packs.
• If the charger detects that the battery pack has overheated, all three charging lights
flash simultaneously. Please remove the battery, let it cool down for 15-30 minutes and
then reinsert it.
• If the charger detects a malfunction in the battery, two charging lights flash simultane-
ously. Please remove the battery and let it cool down for 15-30 minutes. Then put the
battery pack back into the charger. If two charging lights are still flashing, the battery
may require maintenance.
• If the charger detects a malfunction of the charger itself, three charging lights flash
simultaneously. Please remove the battery pack and unplug the charger from the
socket for at least 2 minutes. After 2 minutes, plug the charger back in and put the
battery pack back in the charger. If all three charging lights are still flashing at the same
time, the charger may need maintenance.
NOTE!
• Charging times may be longer depending on
ambient temperature and battery condition.
CAUTION!
• Before trying to charge the battery, check the charger and battery to ensure that the
charging equipment matches the battery. The battery may only be recharged with
the expressly designated charger. A charger that is designed for a different type of
rechargeable battery can cause a fire in this type of rechargeable battery.
• Please note that the battery is not fully charged when delivered. Please charge it com-
pletely before the first use.
• Make sure that you fully recharge the batteries after use. Never discharge the batteries
completely to avoid damage to the batteries.
• The operating temperature of the charger is 4-40°C (40-104°F).
