Design and function
ATTACHING THE BATTERY
• To insert the battery pack into the tool, align the
raised part of the battery pack with the grooves on
the underside of the tool handle and push it firmly
into the handle until the lock engages audibly (Fig. A).
• To remove the battery pack from the tool, press the
battery pack unlock button and slide the battery
pack completely out of the tool handle.
CHARGING
• Connect the plug cable to the charger (Fig. B) and
insert the plug into a suitable socket before inserting
the battery. All three charging lights are switched on
for two seconds and then switched off again.
• Insert the battery pack into the charger, making sure
that the pack is fully inserted in the charger (Fig. C).
During the charging process the charging lights indi-
cate the charging status as follows:
- Less than 30% charged: all three charging lamps
flash one after the other.
- Less than 60% charged: one lamp remains on
while the other two lamps flash one after the other.
- Over 60% charged: two lamps stay on while the
remaining light flashes continuously.
- Fully charged: all three lights remain on continu-
ously.
• Charging takes around 40 minutes (2.0 Ah battery)
or 80 minutes (5.0 Ah battery), and continuous illu-
mination of all three charging lamps indicates that
charging is complete.
