6.7. Installing the filter insert
PLEASE NOTE! The filter insert must only be
installed in an original Harvia filter head.
Make sure that the working environment is clean
and be careful not to get the filter system dirty.
Actions:
1. Remove the protective film from the filter insert
and also remove the protective cap.
2. Before installing the filter insert, mark the
installation date and future replacement date
(12 months from the installation, at the latest)
on the label on the insert (see Figure 7).
3. Install the filter insert in the filter head by turning
the insert counter-clockwise (see Figure 8).
4. The filtering system must be flushed when
setting up the system. Run water through the
filter with the S-07 setting on the control panel
until water flows out of the steam nozzle. (For
more detailed instructions on the operation of
S-07, see the Steam nozzle instructions.)
6.8. Replacing the filter insert
PLEASE NOTE! Disconnect the device from
the mains before replacing the filter insert!
Do as follows:
1. Disconnect the device from the mains. Remove
the steam nozzle and glass for technical space
(see section Initial installation of Nova steam
shower column)
2. Remove the filter insert from the filter head by
turning it clockwise (see Figure 9).
3. Check if the carbonate hardness of the
incoming water has changed, and, if necessary,
update the insert replacement interval and the
by-pass setting to fit the changed conditions.
4. Install the new filter insert by following the
instructions in Section 6.7. (see Figure 9).
5. Rinse and empty the filter insert by following
the instructions in Section 6.7.
6. Dispose of the used filter insert according to the
local regulations on waste.
6.7. Einsetzen des Filtereinsatzes
HINWEIS: Der Filtereinsatz darf nur in einen
original Harvia Filterkopf eingesetzt werden.
Stellen Sie sicher, dass die Arbeitsumgebung sau-
ber ist und achten Sie darauf, dass das Filtersystem
nicht schmutzig wird.
Maßnahmen:
1. Entfernen Sie die Schutzfolie und die
Schutzkappe vom Filtereinsatz.
2. Notieren Sie vor dem Einsetzen des
Filtereinsatzes das Montagedatum und das
zukünftige Auswechseldatum (spätestens 12
Monate nach der Montage) auf der Etikette des
Einsatzes (siehe Abbildung 7).
3. Setzen Sie den Filtereinsatz in den Filterkopf
ein, indem Sie den Einsatz gegen den
Uhrzeigersinn drehen (siehe Abbildung 8).
4. Beim Einrichten der Anlage muss die
Filteranlage gespült werden. Lassen Sie mit der
Einstellung S-07 auf dem Bedienfeld Wasser
durch den Filter laufen, bis Wasser aus der
Dampfdüse fließt. (Ausführlichere Anweisungen
zum Betrieb von S-07 finden Sie in der
Dampfdüsen-Anleitung.)
6.8. Filtereinsatz wechseln
HINWEIS! Trennen Sie das Gerät vom Netz,
bevor Sie den Filtereinsatz austauschen!
Gehen Sie dazu wie folgt vor:
1. Trennen Sie das Gerät vom Stromnetz.
Entfernen Sie die Dampfdüse und das
Glas für den Technikraum (siehe Abschnitt
Erstinstallation der Nova-Dampfduschsäule)
2. Nehmen Sie den Filtereinsatz aus dem
Filterkopf, indem Sie ihn im Uhrzeigersinn
drehen (siehe Abbildung 9).
3. Prüfen Sie, ob sich die Karbonathärte der
Zulaufwassers verändert hat. Falls nötig, passen
Sie das Austauschintervall des Einsatzes und
die Bypass-Einstellung an die veränderten
Bedingungen an.
4. Setzen Sie den neuen Filtereinsatz ein, indem
Sie den Anweisungen in Abschnitt 6.7. folgen
(siehe Abbildung 9).
5. Spülen und leeren Sie den Filtereinsatz, indem
Sie den Anweisungen in Abschnitt 6.7. folgen.
6. Entsorgen Sie den gebrauchten Filtereinsatz
gemäß den lokalen Vorschriften zur
Abfallentsorgung.
