4.3.3. CN-Reader
The operation of the RFID Reader is allowed according to the Chinese standards / regulation
in a frequency range of 920.5 … 924.5 MHz with a maximum radiated power of 2 W e.r.p
(Effective Radiated Power). The in the reader configured output power P

depends on the
antenna gain in dBi and the attenuation of the antenna cable. If a circular polarized antenna
is used the antenna gain [dBic] can be reduced by 3 dB. At a linear polarized antenna the
maximum linear antenna gain [dBi] must be used.

4.3.4 Japan Reader
Lecteur au Japon
In accordance with the approval for Japan, ARIB STD-T106, an output power at the SMA socket
of the reader POut of 0.7 W (28.5 dBm) is permitted. The power radiated from the antenna may
not exceed a value of 4 W e.i.r.p.
The reader can only be used in combination with the following approved antennas:
• Ha-VIS RF-ANT-LR10 (-30 dBi)
• Ha-VIS RF-ANT-sMR20-US (-10.0 dBic)
• Ha-VIS RF-ANT-MR20-US (2.5 dBic)
• Ha-VIS RF-ANT-WR30-US (8.3 dBic)
• Ha-VIS RF-ANT-WR80-30-US (10.5 dBic)
All of the antennas listed above may only be used with a maximum transmission power of 0.7 W.
Conformément à l’homologation ARIB STD-T106, valable au Japon, une puissance de sortie
POut de 0,7 W (28,5 dBm) est autorisée sur le connecteur SMA du lecteur. La puissance émise
par l’antenne ne doit pas dépasser la valeur de 4 W e.i.r.p.
