4.3.2 U.S. Readers
According to the U.S. approval, Title 47, Part 15, a maximum output power P

of 1 W (30 dBm)
is allowed to apply to the SMA connector of the reader. The power radiated from the antenna
may not exceed a value of 4 W e.i.r.p.
If antennas with a higher antenna gain than 6 dBi (9 dBic) are used, the length of the antenna
cables may not go below a certain value. In case a circular antenna is used, then 3 dB
from the antenna gain [G] = dBic may be deducted. This is true when using the antenna
Ha-VIS RF ANT-WR80-30-US
. In such a constellation, the following calculation for the damping
of the antenna cable applies:
