In order to use the included Evertz® cable to support External 708 closed captioning, some
pinout adjustments must be made to the cable. Table 5-2 describes the proper orientation.

NOTE:

Connect Pin 5 on both the DB9 and HD15 to shell. Also, short pins 7 and 8 on the DB9

connnector.
