Transmitters
DXLink 4K HDMI Wallplate TX (DX-TX-DWP-4K) Front View
Components located on front of 4K HDMI Wallplate TX
HDMI Input –
HDMI connector (with locking center screw) for digital video and embedded digital audio (supports a DVI-D
signal with use of DVI-to-HDMI cable adapter). When more than one audio signal is present, HDMI embedded audio takes
precedence over analog audio.
DXLink LED –
Indicates when a link is established to a downstream device.
HDCP LED –
Indicates that the signal being sent downstream is HDCP-encrypted content (blinks when passing non-HDCP
video).
Wallplate Transmitter Rear View
The 4K HDMI Wallplate TX has a DXLink connector and ground screw on the rear of the device.

DXLink Output Connector
– DXLink (RJ-45) connectors transport digital video and embedded audio over twisted pair cable
to DXLink devices or boards, including digitally transcoded analog video signals. The DXLink path supports HDCP. In
addition, Wallplate Transmitters receive power over the DXLink line from an Enova DGX Switcher or power injectors PDXL-2
(FG1090-170) or PS-POE-AT-TC (FG423-84). For pinout and LED

Ground Screw
– The ground screw is used for creating a technical ground for the ungrounded sources/destinations with
respect to the DXLink Transmitters/Receivers and switcher (see page 28).
