At the “Back Vol Level” menu, a slider scale will appear. Use the “
Î
“ and “
Í
“ buttons to adjust the volume to the
desired level. You will be able to hear the level change in the speakers, and the slider scale will move to indicate the
change in the setting from the calibrated setting. A two digit counter will also display the actual amount of the setting
variation. When the desired setting is reached, press “Exit/OK” to enter the setting to memory and return to the Expert
Setting menu.
If all Expert Settings have been made, press “Exit/OK” to return to the “Surround Mode Edit” menu.
Entering a Custom Mode to Memory
Once all of the settings and adjustments have been made to create a custom mode, the final step is to enter the mode
to the 7.0’s permanent memory so that it may be recalled with the press of one of the Custom Mode buttons on the
remote.
After all settings have been established, the “Surround Mode Edit” menu should be on the screen. When you are
ready to proceed, press “Exit/OK”. An instruction note will appear on the screen (Figure #xx).
To store the settings, press the “Custom” mode button that you wish to use to recall this mode at a later point.
Remember that when the settings are stored in a mode memory, any settings previously stored in that number will be
erased. Once the mode button is pressed, the settings will be stored. You may verify the settings by pressing the
“Custom Mode” button and note that the name entered for the custom mode will appear on the video screen and front
panel display.
If you do not wish to store the settings, press “Cancel” to return to normal operation. Remember that once the “Cancel”
button is pressed, all settings will be lost and the selection must be re-built if you wish to enter it as a mode at some
later time.
