Three options are available for trigger (screen) control for each input:
1. Manual Adjust: This is the factory default setting. When this option is selected, the decision to send the control
signal to raise or lower a screen is the same for all inputs. The selection of “screen up” or “screen down” is made via
the “Options Set” menu. See page #xx for more information.
2: Always Up: When this option is selected, the trigger signal will not be present when the mode is selected. This
option is useful for “audio only” sources such as tuners, audio cassette decks or phono preamps, where there is no
need to lower a video screen during playback. Selecting this option will over-ride settings made in other menus. for the
particular input.
3. Always Down: When this option is selected, the trigger signal will be present so that the screen is always lowered
when the specific input signal is selected. If the “Options Set” menu is set to control the screen for “Manual Up”, this
mode should be selected for video inputs such as VCRs, LV players, satellite receivers and other sources where the
video screen is required. This option will over-ride the settings made in other menus so that the screen is extended for
the particular input.
