WELDING OPERATION
6.1
Preparation: distribution wiring
1.Ground the yellow and green cables.
2.Losen the screws of the junction box cover, take off junction box upwards.
3.Remove the three OT on the cable terminal, press tightly the OT terminal on same side of
three-phase power supply cable
4.Put OT connected on cables terminal fixed on the welding machine wiring terminals with
screws, cover the lid and screw down. Please ask the professional electrician to wire.
Do not operate without turning off power supply!
If necessary, please equip leakage protector
Note: make sure the machine’s output terminal connection to the cathode and anode is
reliable, otherwise it will be damaged by over heating.
6.2 Melting polar gas shielded welding installation, commissioning and operation
Reference figure 1: the equipment connection diagram (gas welding molten)
1. Connect the one end of the integrated cable to the positive output terminal, connect the
other end to the wire feeder.
2. Connect the ground wire to the machine’s negative output terminal, and use the
grounding to clamp the workpiece
3.If use carbon dioxide, the gas heater's power supply cable plug into the back panel of
the heater power socket
4. Connect one end of the gas tube to the air inlet of the wire feeder, connect the other
end to the pressure-reducing meter of the cylinder.
5. Turn on the switch, ready for welding
After completion of the above work, basically completed the melting polar gas shielded
welding machine installation. Then according to operation instructions of wire feeder and
welding torch mentioned in next chapter, add welding wire, close the circuit breaker on
the back panel, adjust the welding parameters, welding will start after turning on the
cylinder.
