Setting up and aligning the
appliance

Insuffi cient air circulation may lead to
overheating and cause damage to the
appliance.

The entire space above the appliance
must remain clear.
■
The appliance should not stand di-
rectly against the wall (leave a mini-
mum clearance of 5 cm).
Setting up and aligning the
appliance
1. Place the appliance on as flat and as firm
a base as possible.
To ensure adequate air circulation
– the entire space above the appliance must
be kept clear;
– the appliance should not stand directly
against the wall (leave a minimum clear-
ance of 5 cm);
– the clearance between the ventilation slots
and the wall, units or other appliances must
be at least 15 cm.
2. Check the position with a spirit level.

3. If necessary, tilt the appliance backwards
slightly and screw/unscrew the screw
feet (9).
4. Stand the appliance back up again and
check the alignment once again with a spir-
it level. Repeat the process until the appli-
ance is standing up vertically. The appli-
ance should not move when the appliance
door (3) is being opened.
Installing the door handle
You can install the supplied door handle if you
like.

1. Unscrew the screws (19) on the side of the
appliance door (3).

2. Remove the blind plugs (20) from the door
handle (4) using, for example, a paper clip
which has been straightened.
