Preparation
1. Read all safety notes and instructions on
page EN-5.
2. Remove all polystyrene, cardboard and
plastic securing components from inside.
3. Remove all protective films.
4. Adjust the clock (see page EN-21).
Otherwise the oven will not switch on.
5. Thoroughly clean the oven before first
use (see page EN-26).
The right oven cookware
– Pots with heat-resistant handles can be
recognised by the label indicating ‘heat re-
sistant up to 280°C’.
– Fire-proof dishes made of glass, porcelain,
ceramic and clay or cast iron.
– In particular, ovens with top and bottom
heat require dishes and trays with good
heat transfer, preferably metals which have
been painted black, as these allow cakes
to brown nicely.
– Good results can also be achieved with
coated or non-coated aluminium trays.

be inserted as shown.
Oven rack guides with
telescopic oven rails
NOTICE
Pent-up heat can damage the oven’s
enamel.
■
Do not place baking trays or alumini-
um foil directly on the bottom of the
cooking compartment.
■
If you wish to place dishes directly on
the bottom of the cooking compart-
ment, the oven temperature must not
exceed 50°C. Be careful when han-
dling cookware – the enamel can be
easily scratched.
(8)
(9)
The side walls of the cooking compartment
are equipped with baking tray guides (8) with
telescopic oven rails (9). These make it eas-
ier to remove baking trays and the oven rack
from the oven, for example, to baste roasts.
Remove the baking tray guides and the
telescopic oven rails when you need
more space in the oven, for example (see
„Removing and cleaning baking tray guides“
on page EN-17).
