Indicator lights

The red temperature indicator light (2) illu-
minates while the oven is heating up and/
or re-heating. Once it goes out, the set oven
temperature has been reached. The red
temperature indicator light goes on and off
repeatedly during the entire cooking time.
The red locking light (5) illuminates when the
oven door is locked during pyrolysis cleaning
(see „Pyrolytic self-cleaning“ on page EN-16).
Oven lighting
NOTICE
Use the oven light only to illuminate the
cooking compartment. It is not suitable
for lighting a room.
• Set the function selector to
‘oven light-
ing’ to illuminate the oven.
• The light will also switch on as soon as
you open the oven door.
Information on changing the bulb is
available at page EN-19.
Switching off the oven
1. Turn the temperature controller (1) an-
ti-clockwise to the ‘0’ position.
The red temperature indicator light (2)
goes out.
2. Turn the function selector (4) back to the
‘0’ position. The oven light.
If the oven does not turn on
If the oven does not turn on, the display will
show the reason. There are two possible rea-
sons:
– The oven only works when the time is set.
Otherwise, the display flashes (see „Set-
ting/changing the time“ on page EN-21).
– The oven is in automatic mode. ‘AUTO’ (see
„The timer“ on page EN-21) lights up in the
display.
