6. BELT OR BRUSHBAR:
REMOVAL AND REPLACEMENT
Tool required: Phillips screwdriver
WARNING! Moving parts can pinch and crush. Unplug cleaner before changing belt or
brush.
To remove the belt:
1. Lay vacuum flat and flip the vacuum to expose the vacuum base plate located on the
underside of the vacuum (fig. 6/1).
2. The base should lay flat and face up. To remove the base plate, use a Phillips
screwdriver to remove all seven (7) screws. arrows show the location of the screws.

3. Remove base plate by lifting off. (fig. 6/2)
4. Lift and remove the brushbar. dispose of the old belt. (fig. 6/3)
