c)  Exhaust Filter Removal and Replacement 

 

To remove the exhaust filter, first remove the dirt container and press the red tab on 
the front of the exhaust cover and lift to remove. (fig. 5/7)

1.  Press the gray tab on the exhaust filter and lift the filter out of the base of the 

vacuum cleaner. (fig. 5/8)

2.  To clean the exhaust filter, tap the filter on the inside of a trash can to remove 

excess dust and dirt from filter. (fig. 5/9)

3.  Wash the exhaust filter under cold running water every 9-12 months. Leave the 

filter to dry for 24 hours before replacing in the appliance.
