5. DIRT CONTAINER AND
REMOVAL AND REPLACEMENT OF FILTERS
WARNING! Moving parts can pinch and crush. Always unplug this appliance before
servicing.
a) Emptying the Dirt Container
1. Press the dirt container removal button and lift the dirt container from the cleaner.
(fig. 5/1)
2. Hold the dirt container inside the trash can, (fig. 5/2), and press the red dirt
container quick release button, located on the lower back portion of the can, to
empty it. (fig. 5/2) Tap the dirt container on the inside of the trash can to remove
excess dust.
3. Wipe inside of the dust container and shroud with a damp cloth to remove
excess dust.
b) Foam Filter Removal and Replacement
1. To remove the foam filter, first remove the dirt container to expose the foam filter.
Press the tab on the bottom of the foam filter cover and pull to remove. (fig. 5/3)
