2. To clean the foam filter, separate the filter assembly by removing the foam filter
from its plastic housing. (fig. 5/4) Tap the foam filter on the inside of a trash can
to remove excess dust and dirt from filter.
3. To wash the foam filter, hold it under running water to wash it (105°f max). Wring
excess water out of the filter. allow the filter to dry for at least 24 hours before
replacing into the filter cartridge. (fig. 5/4)
4. To replace the foam filter return it to the vacuum cleaner and snap it into place.
Replace the foam filter cover and snap it into place to secure. (fig. 5/6)
NOTE:
The filter housing also needs to be washed regularly with cold water and dried
thoroughly before replacing and restarting the vacuum cleaner.
