Parameters
bundle-id
: Number of an HDLC link bundle. The value range for this argument is 1 to 240.
Description
Use the
bundle id
command to assign a POS interface to an HDLC link bundle.
Use the
undo bundle id
command to remove a POS interface from an HDLC link bundle.
You cannot assign interfaces configured with the following features to an HDLC link bundle: IPv4
addresses, IPv4 unnumbered, IPv6 addresses, and unicast reverse path forwarding (URPF). After an
interface is assigned to an HDLC link bundle, you cannot configure any of these features on the interface.
You can assign only physical POS interfaces to HDLC link bundles.
An interface can be the member of only one HDLC link bundle. To move an interface from one HDLC link
bundle to another HDLC link bundle, remove the interface from the current HDLC link bundle first.
The link layer protocol of an interface to be assigned to an HDLC link bundle can only be HDLC. You
cannot change the link layer protocol of an HDLC link bundle member interface.
You can assign physical POS interfaces to an HDLC link bundle before you create the bundle.
