The Windows operating system has loaded the USB mass storage medium
Note that:
z
The router does not provide the USB mass storage medium driver at the host end. Therefore, you
need to install a Windows operating system that supports the USB mass storage medium driver on
the host (Windows XP is recommended).
z
The file system of the router and the Windows operating system on the host cannot operate the
internal CF card at the same time, otherwise, the router fails. Therefore, when the router connects
to the host, the file system of the router unmounts the internal CF card, and then the Windows
operating system on the host loads the CF card.
z
When the router connects to the host, for the file system of the router, all functions of the internal
CF card cannot be used until the router disconnects with the host. At this time, the Windows
operating system on the host unmounts the internal CF card and then the file system of the router
loads the internal CF card again.
z
When the LED of the USB device port is blinking (data is being received or transmitted), the
standard detachable USB cable cannot be plugged out, and you are not recommended to disable
the USB device port by using the
undo usb device-port enable
command, otherwise, the router
may fail.
z
When a connection between the router and the host is established, it is not recommended to format
the CF card or delete files on it. Otherwise, the important files, such as application files and
configuration files, on the CF card may be damaged or deleted, and the router cannot start up
normally next time.
z
At present, the file system of the router only supports English. Chinese filenames and folder names
in the Windows operating system are displayed as garbled characters. Therefore, you are
recommended not to copy, paste, or create files and folders with Chinese names.
