By default, the system starts up in normal mode and the waiting time here is five seconds. If you set 
the startup mode to fast, the waiting time is one second. For the setting of the startup mode, refer to

To enter the Boot menu in normal mode, you need to press 

Ctrl

 +

 B

 within five seconds when the 

system displays “Press Ctrl-B to enter Boot Menu”. Otherwise, the system starts decompressing 
the application files.  

z

 

You need to restart the switch if you want to enter the Boot menu after the application files are 
decompressed. 

 

Enter the Boot ROM password (the initial password is null). Then the system displays the Boot menu.
