Hot Swappable Power Modules
The S5820X series adopts hot swappable power modules. Table 1-15 lists the power module models
and the specifications. You can purchase DC or AC power modules as needed.

You can use one power module for the S5820X series to ensure normal operation of the whole system.
You can also use two power modules in parallel connection to implement 1 + 1 redundancy.
Note that you can replace a power module with the device running. However, you need to follow the
installation and power-on procedure illustrated in
Figure 1-6 and the power-off and removal procedure
illustrated in Figure 1-7 to prevent damage to the device and personal injury.

Hot Swappable Fan Tray
Fan Tray Introduction
The S5820X series adopts hot swappable fan trays. The S5820X-28S adopts the LSW1BFAN fan tray
and the S5820X-28C adopts the LSW1FAN fan tray.
Table 1-16 shows the specifications the two
models of fan trays.
