Setting the time
With the DPC mechanism, position 2 for setting the time
can be reached only by pulling the crown out twice from
the normal position 0. The way this mechanism works is
described under ”The DPC mechanism”. When the crown
engages in position 2, the movement stops. The watch can
be set to the nearest second by pulling the crown into
position 2 when the seconds hand is pointing exactly at 12
o‘clock. Once the crown is engaged in position 2, you can
set the minute and hour hands by turning the crown in
either direction. The calendar always switches from one
date to the next exactly at 24:00 (midnight), even when
the crown is in the time setting position. If the calendar
switches when the minute hand is pointing at 12 o‘clock,
this means that the time currently indicated on the watch
is midnight. To start the movement again, push the crown
once to move it back into the winding position.
