Setting the date
In position 1, the crown serves mainly for quickly resetting
several days or the month. The movement does not stop
while the date is being set and it also allows the date to be
set during the calendar changeover phase.
To reach position 1, pull the crown out from the normal
position once. The date can now be set by turning the crown
forwards or backwards. Please note that the movement
moves the date forward at midnight.
If the watch has not been used for a while, it is advisable to
turn the hands forward in position 2 (for setting the hands)
until the date changes. This will enable you to identify
midnight. The date can then be changed in position 1
(for setting the date) more quickly.
When the right date appears in the window, push the crown
back to the normal position 0. Because the movement is not
stopped while the date is being set in position 1, the hands
continue to run without interruption.
