After charging, unplug the charger from the mains then remove the clamp from the frame and the
battery. Imperatively respect the indicated order.
•
The charger must be placed in such a way that the plug is always accessible.
•
The charger must not be used as toy by young children, or used by young children or disabled
persons without any supervision.
•
This product is to be recycled by selective collection. Do not throw in domestic garbage.
•
Do not short-circuit the clamps during charging.
•
Before use it is recommended to pre-charge the machine for a few minutes. Check that the
battery is securely connected to the + and - terminals and is in good condition. NEVER attempt to
charge a battery with the unit in START mode!
•
If the vehicle does not start, wait at least 3 minutes and re-attempt.
TROUBLESHOOTING

The green light does not
switch on when charging

Check with a voltmeter the voltage
on the terminals. If the voltage
rises instantly at more than 2.5V
per element, the battery may be
damaged or sulphated.
Voltage error (12V or 24V)
Check the red cable is linked to the
+ terminal of your Neostart (12 or
24V)
The ammeter indicates
more than 20A while the
switch is set on
minimum.
The battery is deeply discharged
Keep the charge while keeping the
adjustments to the minimum.

Some battery elements are in short-
circuit.
Change the battery
The machine trips
You are starting on the “charge”
mode of the machine
Imperatively place the selector on
the “start” position whereas it could

Rearm the circuit breaker.
A 12V battery is charged on the 24V
output. Connect the red cable on the +12 V
output of the Neostart.
