peak as the new center frequency of
the Spectrum Analyzer.

Configuring the Bandwidth

Background

The bandwidth menu gives the possibility of
configuring the resolution bandwidth as well as
the type of window used for the spectral analysis.

Panel Operation

Press the

Option

key, and

the

Spectrum Analyzer

button to enter the
Spectrum Analyzer menu.

Option

Press the

Bandwidth

button to enter

the bandwidth menu.

The resolution bandwidth

can be

set automatically according to a
configurable ratio defined between
the span and the frequency
resolution. To choose that option,
set the RBW

Mode

button to

Auto

press on the

Span: RBW

button and

tune the ratio using the variable
knob.

Range

5,000:1 ~ 1,000:1

Alternatively, set the

RBW. Mode

button to

to manually

configure the frequency resolution.
